About our Speakers
Prof. Joseph Choukroun
Dr. Choukroun completed his medical education in Montpellier and spent five years as a surgeon, followed by roles as an anesthesiologist, then as a pain specialist. After graduating in medicine in 1979 from the University of Montpellier, France, Dr. Joseph Choukroun further specialized in General Surgery & Anesthesiology. His academic journey continued with a focus on Pain Management at the University of Strasbourg, France.
In 2003, he orchestrated the inaugural SYFAC and continues to be a steadfast global lecturer, making significant contributions to esteemed journals.
Currently serving as the proprietor of the Private Pain Clinic in Nice, France, Dr. Choukroun also holds the position of President at SYFAC, the International Symposium on Growth Factors. Additionally, he is recognized as the author of numerous scientific papers.
Dr. Choukroun is renowned as the innovator behind PRF techniques, which include L-PRF, A-PRF, i-PRF, iPRF+, and SPRF (Choukroun PRF).
